Standard vs Vault X vs Top Loader: Card Pocket Sizes
The exact mm dimensions for Standard, Vault X, and Top Loader card pockets — and how to pick the right size when printing extended binder art.

Printing binder art that lines up perfectly starts with one thing: knowing which pocket size you’re building for. There are three common sizes, and they’re not interchangeable — a print sized for a standard pocket will float inside a top loader, and a top-loader print won’t fit a standard sleeve.

How to choose your size
Ask what’s actually going into the pocket:
- Single-sleeved cards in a normal 9-pocket page → Standard (63 × 88 mm).
- Double-sleeved or premium cards in Vault X exact-fit pages → Vault X (68 × 97 mm).
- Rigid top loaders for your best pulls → Top Loader (76 × 102 mm).
If you’re mixing sleeve types in one binder, print each page for the sleeve that page uses. The art is the same scene at each size — only the trim dimensions change.
Why the exact millimetres matter
Pocket pages have real tolerances. A print that’s a couple of millimetres too big bows in the pocket; one that’s too small leaves a visible gap at the edge. A note on graded cards
Graded slabs (PSA, BGS, CGC) are larger and thicker than any of these pockets and don’t go in binder pages.
