Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 26 July 2026

What we aim for, what we have actually done, and where we know we fall short.

Our aim

We want olliepagecreations.com to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard alone, magnification, or reduced motion. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

This statement describes the current state honestly rather than claiming full conformance. Our present status is partially conformant: most of the site meets the standard, and the known gaps are listed below.

What we have done

  • Every page is server-rendered HTML with a proper heading structure and landmark regions, so content is available without JavaScript.
  • All meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative art is hidden from assistive technology.
  • Interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus styles.
  • Dialogs (cart, card search, sign-in) trap focus, are labelled, and close on Escape.
  • Body text is set at a comfortable size in a highly legible typeface, and reflows to 320px without horizontal scrolling.
  • Colour is never the only way information is conveyed, and text contrast targets the AA ratio.
  • The FAQ and product details use native disclosure elements, so they work before any script loads.

Known limitations

We are aware of these and intend to address them:

  • Binder Studio is a drag-and-drop layout tool. Every pocket can be filled and cleared using buttons rather than dragging, but re-ordering by keyboard alone is not yet supported.
  • The Lemon Squeezy checkout overlay and Etsy's site are third-party interfaces we do not control and cannot fix directly.
  • Artwork previews are inherently visual. Their alt text describes the design and format, but cannot convey the artwork itself.
  • Some decorative gradients on dark sections sit close to the AA contrast threshold for incidental text.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on this site is hard or impossible to use, we want to hear about it — it is the fastest way for us to find real problems. Email [email protected] with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using.

We aim to respond within 2 business days. If you cannot complete a purchase because of an accessibility barrier, say so and we will arrange the order and delivery with you directly.

Assessment approach

This statement is based on our own review of the site against WCAG 2.2 AA — automated checks plus manual keyboard and screen-reader testing. It has not been independently audited. We review it whenever we ship a significant change to the interface.
