Acceptable Use Policy

Scope

This policy forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses olliepagecreations.com, holds a Binder Studio account, or uploads content to it. Where the two documents overlap, read them together.

1. Content you may not upload

Binder Studio lets you place your own images into a binder layout. Do not upload anything that:

• You do not have the rights to. Scans, renders, and artwork from trading cards are usually owned by the publisher or the illustrator. Uploading them for your own private layout may or may not be permitted where you live — that judgement, and its consequences, are yours.
• Is sexual content involving minors, or sexualises a real person without their consent.
• Depicts or promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm, or harasses or threatens anyone.
• Promotes hatred against people on the basis of a protected characteristic.
• Is a photograph of an identifiable person who has not agreed to it.
• Is confidential, or someone else's personal information.
• Contains malware, or is engineered to attack or destabilise a system that processes it.
• Is unlawful where you are, or where we are.

We do not routinely review uploads — they are your private workspace. But we may remove content and suspend accounts when something is reported to us or comes to our attention.

2. The AI extend feature

When you use "extend into my binder", your image is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate the result. That means:

• Your image leaves our systems and is processed by Google, under Google's API terms and its own acceptable-use rules, in addition to this one.
• Do not submit private, confidential, or sensitive images, or photographs of identifiable people.
• Do not attempt to make the model produce prohibited content, or use prompts and images designed to bypass its safety filters.
• Do not use the feature to reproduce a living artist's protected work, or to pass off generated output as someone else's art.
• Do not automate or bulk-run the feature. It is metered, it costs us money per call, and it is provided for ordinary personal use.

Section 10 of the Terms covers what you can and cannot assume about ownership of AI output.

3. Using the site and our services

Do not:

• Try to access accounts, orders, files, or systems that are not yours.
• Circumvent, probe, or test the download entitlement checks — or share a download link with anyone else.
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download our artwork or product images beyond ordinary browsing, or use them to train a machine-learning model.
• Reverse-engineer or interfere with the site's code, APIs, or infrastructure.
• Place a disproportionate load on our services, including automated requests to the card search, the AI endpoints, or the checkout.
• Upload or transmit malware, or use the site to distribute spam.
• Impersonate us or anyone else, or misrepresent your affiliation with us.
• Create accounts in bulk or by automated means.
• Resell, sub-licence, or redistribute anything you bought from us — see section 4 of the Terms.

Security researchers: we welcome good-faith reports. Email [email protected] before testing anything intrusive, give us reasonable time to fix what you find, and do not access other people's data. We will not pursue a researcher who acts in good faith along those lines.

4. Reporting a problem

To report content or behaviour that breaches this policy, email [email protected] with as much detail as you can. For copyright and trademark complaints specifically, use the process on our Copyright & IP Complaints page — it asks for the particular information we need to act.

5. What happens if you breach this policy

Our response is proportionate to what happened. Depending on severity we may remove content, limit a feature, suspend or close your account, refuse future orders, or report the matter to the authorities where the law requires it.

Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will tell you what we did and why, and give you a chance to put it right or to explain. If you think we got it wrong, reply to us — a person reads it, and we do reverse decisions.

6. Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The current version always lives here with its "last updated" date.
