Extended binder art turns a standard 9-pocket page into one continuous scene that frames your cards. Here's what it is, how it works, and what you get.

Most binders treat every card the same way: one pocket, one card, a hard plastic edge, repeat. Extended binder art does something different. It’s printable artwork built so a standard 9-pocket page becomes a single, continuous scene — the illustration runs behind and between your cards, so each pocket shows a slice of one larger picture.
The result is a binder page that reads like a gallery wall instead of a spreadsheet.
How it works
A 9-pocket page is a 3×3 grid. Extended binder art is designed on that same grid: one artwork is sliced into nine pieces, each sized to sit behind a card in its pocket. When the page is filled, the slices line up and the scene appears to wrap around your collection.
Because the art is a digital file, you print only the pieces you need, trim them, and slide each one into a pocket behind (or beside) the card it frames. Your card stays the hero — the art gives it a stage.
Standard vs connected layouts
Designs typically ship in more than one arrangement:
- Standard 3×3 — each pocket is its own framed slice, ideal when every pocket holds a card.
- Connected (Jumbo Left / Jumbo Right) — the artwork is joined across two pockets so a jumbo or oversized card, or a single feature card, sits in one continuous widescreen panel.
Having both means the same design works whether you’re filling a full page or spotlighting one pull.
What you actually download
Extended binder art is a digital product — nothing is shipped. A typical Extended Binder Art download includes:
- 300 DPI print-ready PNG grids in the layouts above
- Transparent and solid-black background versions
- A4 and US Letter PDF print packs with crop marks
- Sizing for Standard, Vault X, and Top Loader pockets
